The British Red Cross offers six short, interactive mental wellbeing and resilience courses for the workplace, ranging from 2 hours to 1 day in duration. These courses are designed to build both team and individual resilience and to help staff members return to and maintain a state of positive mental wellbeing.

Causes and impact of work-related stress
There were 488,000 cases of work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2015/16, accounting for 37% of all work-related ill health cases and 45% of all working days lost due to ill health.***
Common causes of work-related stress, depression or anxiety (defined as a harmful reaction to work pressures) include:
- tight deadlines
- too much responsibility
- challenging customer situations
- lack of managerial support
