What is a First Aid for Appointed Persons course?
This First Aid for Appointed Persons course is suitable when the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines indicate that a first aider is not necessary.
On the day of the course, learners will develop the skills and confidence to help someone who:
- is unresponsive and breathing
- is unresponsive and not breathing
- is having a seizure.
The course also includes information on:
- assessing a casualty
- monitoring a casualty
- knowing where to get help
- completing an accident report.
