First Aid Training for security personnel
A first aid course for security personnel is essential, as they are often first on the scene at minor and serious incidents. First aid training provides the skills and confidence to respond quickly. The Security Industry Authority (SIA) requires all new licence applicants to hold an Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, or equivalent, before becoming licensed security professionals.
Your first aid needs assessment will help determine the correct level of provision for your workplace as recommend by the HSE, such as hazards, workplace layout, number of employees and number of first aiders needed per number of employees.

Life‑threatening bleeding is one of the most critical first aid emergencies faced in the security industry, where incidents can escalate quickly. Without rapid intervention, uncontrolled blood loss can become fatal.
