Who is it for?

Suitable for people 18 years and over, this course is for members of the public looking for a full first aid course covering a wide range of first aid skills with a strong, hands-on and practical emphasis. This course does not qualify you as a first aider in the workplace under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Qualification

This course is continually assessed and a certificate of competency is issued. We recommend that participants refresh their skills every 3 years.

Pre-requisites

No previous knowledge of first aid needed. Participants are encouraged to discuss any particular learning needs beforehand.

Notes

This course covers first aid skills relevant to people of all ages. There is a high practical content to this course, which may include outdoors content. Participants should wear suitable clothing.
